Annoying text and messenger spams to be aware of

Here's a sampling of two of them. Safe to ignore these. Delete or block, totally safe. Don't engage them. At all.

Receive an email with subject: Fwd: [9]?

No idea who the sender is. From Russia? WTF. Never heard of any of the cc'd recipients either. And of course there is a link in the email with no accompanying text. Must be an attempt to get you to cough up some info after the click and, or as soon as you click your machine will be planted with a trojan like virus that could compromise your information or use your machine's resources for illegitimate purposes.

Don't fall for "USPS Delivery Status Notification" (USPS.com) phishing spam, scam

These emails are annoying because at first glance they seem legitimate vis a vis the subject line, "Delivery Status Notification." And the snippet: "USPS.com notification." But look at the sender: Logistics Services, and that is the first hint of a spam/scam. Then look at the sender's actual email address: item_56@tjspartakprerov.cz. Czech sender re. a United States Post Office delivery? WTF. But who knows where the email really originated. Phishy!

Important Alert for Monday - Must read (OTCQB: MEDA)

On a quiet Sunday afternoon we have received an "Important Alert for Monday - Must read" email concerning ticker MEDA on the OTCQB. So we are told. Just from that we have the telltale signs of a stock spam campaign. Caveat emptor.

Stock Profitz IGPK emails May 5 to May 10

As a courtesy for anyone who has received an IGPK email (Integrated Cannabis, $0.45 per share close on Firday down 5.26%), probably from "Stock Profitz", we're sharing the emails we have received. Once again we've disabled any hyperlinks for security purposes. We haven't clicked the links for their disclaimers, but the names and sites for their disclaimers should be sufficient to give pause before anyone commits money to IGPK. The violent downside since Wednesday is further worrisome.
